Midweek walk: 3.1 miles round Swinsty Reservoir

It is a few years now since we did a walk around Swinsty Reservoir, set in the beautiful Washburn Valley. On a clear day this walk is a delight, providing breathtaking views across the water and the surrounding landscape. This is a relatively short, fairly level walk on made footpaths, which I felt might be wise at this time of year as everywhere is so waterlogged, however it will undoubtedly be muddy so walking boots or wellies and poles are advised. We will probably drive to the Fewston Farm Shop and Café for coffee afterwards.
