Midweek walk: 4.5 miles circular route from Linton to Collingham and Wetherby.

Starting at the car park just before the bridge in Linton, we make our way along a pretty beck into Collingham village and enter the churchyard where we pick up the riverside path heading towards Wetherby. This delightful path meanders alongside the River Wharfe, before we join the road bridge to cross the river and enter Wetherby. I am hoping we can stop for coffee at Bel Sourire, which some of our members have recommended, before returning via a recreational area and part of Wetherby golf course and rejoining the road to walk back into Linton. We have a chance to admire some stunning houses before turning left onto quiet paths which bring us out just across the bridge from the car park. 
This is a fairly flat walk with just a couple of stiles and occasional steps to assist the few gentle uphill sections. Walking boots and poles are recommended.
Please be aware that this walk is notoriously muddy and due to the proximity of the footpath to the river if there is significant rainfall in the preceding days I will change the route.
